More About Kristin Jenkins
Kristin is a Maryland native, raised in Southern Maryland and residing currently in the Annapolis area. After completing undergrad at Bryn Mawr College, Kristin worked in marketing and sales management, quickly advancing her career through both her keen eye for quality improvement and her ability to forge meaningful relationships with her clients. In that time, Kristin was also recovering from an eating disorder, a journey that helped shape her views on nutrition, diets, and weight loss. Recognizing that her unique personal experience and professional skill set positioned her for a fulfilling career as a nutrition therapist and entrepreneur, Kristin went back to school for her masters of science in dietetics in 2018. She is passionate about helping her clients reach their nutrition and wellness goals by balancing physical and mental health.
Kristin spends much of her free time reading the works of HAES experts in the nutrition field. She writes passionately on topics like intuitive eating, mindfulness, body image, and the harms of diet culture for the RBA blog, and creates content for the RBA instagram. Outside of the office, Kristin enjoys quality time spent with friends and family. Some of her favorite activities include taking her family dog, Porter, to the dog park, and thrifting affordable and sustainable fashion. Kristin also has a pension for classic rock on vinyl, true crime documentaries, and sushi.
