Teacher of self-care, you are a powerful role model. We believe teachers have one of the most important jobs in the world. They provide support, guidance, and knowledge to children, who will become future leaders and shapers around the world. Teachers spend countless hours outside of the classroom doing planning, researching, learning, and grading, to ensure that  their students get the best education they can possibly provide.
With the end of the year approaching, as the pressure on students increases, pressure on teachers grows as deadlines for grades and other paperwork arrive faster than expected. Now more than ever, it is important for everyone, teachers especially, to practice self care.
In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week,  Rebecca Bitzer & Associates and Empowered Eating would like to thank all the teachers for all the work they do. Our teacher self care packages, sponsored by KIND and Rosewood  are almost ready to go out to teachers in Howard County, to help remind everyone how important self-care is in overall wellness.

Teacher Self-care Packages

Help a teacher practice self care, tell them how much your appreciate them this week!
How do you practice self-care, especially in times of great stress?
We invite teachers and parents to  contact us if they are interested in having us work with their school/self care efforts as well at admin@rbitzer.com or 301-474-2499.

We delivered care packages to all middle school and high school teachers in Howard County to both thank them for being positive influencers and role models for their students.  Also, to help them quickly and easily screen for students who may be at high risk for eating disorders.  We did this also to increase eating disorder awareness in Howard County where our Columbia office is located.
