More About Kaitlin
Kaitlin changed career paths after realizing her true passion was helping others lead healthier lives. She returned to school to complete her Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. From there, she went on to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide nutrition counseling to those struggling with diabetes, weight management, PCOS, or other chronic conditions.
An Annapolis native with a strong culinary background, Kaitlin’s mission is to empower others to reach their health goals by encouraging them to get back into the kitchen. Kaitlin teaches individuals how to prepare simple, healthy meals even in the midst of a stressful lifestyle. Kaitlin works with clients to help them overcome the barriers that often get in the way of reaching their goals.
Kaitlin became a dietitian after her own weight-loss journey. She made nutrition and lifestyle changes that helped her reach her goals and now she works to empower others to do the same. In her spare time, Kaitlin likes creating new recipes, kickboxing, traveling to new places, and hanging out with her goldendoodle, Oliver.
Kaitlin enjoys teaching others about cooking, online and in person. You can watch her on a local TV show, “Let’s Talk Sarcoidosis,” as she and Klara Knezevic, RD, LD, taught host Dorothea how to prepare a simple meal featuring anti-inflammatory spices. She has also appeared on numerous Facebook Live videos, where she prepares nutritious meals right in the Greenbelt office.
“My A1C has come down from 7.6 to 6.9, my glucose levels are within the normal range, and I have lost 9 pounds. Ms. Williams played a central role in all of this, providing crucial information, honest feedback, and an excellent listening ear. She has been crucial to me achieving my goals. I commend her heartily. You are very lucky to have her on your team!”
“Kaitlin was very warm, friendly, courteous and patient. She really listened to me. She seems genuine, and I look forward to working with her and getting myself on the right track regarding controlling my food intake and making healthier choices so that I can eventually reduce the medicines I am on or be able to stop taking them completely.”
“I think that my mindset is finally getting to the point that I don’t think of it as a diet but a way of life. Kaitlin is a lovely young woman, and I think she will continue to help me reach my desired goal and keep me healthier and happier.”
“Kaitlin is a wonderful person that is truly an asset to your organization. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. She provided me with a lot of information and piqued my interest to do additional research.”
