Almond Granola Bars

A quick snack loaded with fiber and healthy unsaturated fats!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup dates pitted
  • 1 cup almonds chopped
  • 1 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup almond butter Justin's Honey Almond Butter

Instructions

  • Place dates in a food processor. Blend well (mixture may form a ball, or several balls). Place in a large bowl.
  • To the bowl with dates, add the almonds and oats and mix. Set aside.
  • Heat honey and almond butter in a saucepan on low until melted. Pour into dates, almonds, and oats bowl. Mix well, breaking up the dates. Spray your hands with some cooking spray and and use your hands to mix once the mixture has cooled.
  • Spray an 8x8 pan with cooking spray. Spray the bottom of a flat sturdy drinking class with cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the pan, and then press down with the bottom of the glass until everything is compact.
  • Chill in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  • Cut the bars into 10 pieces. Enjoy!
