No-Sodium Taco Seasoning

This taco seasoning can be used to replace the packets of taco seasoning found in the grocery store. Use this seasoning on ground beef, turkey or chicken!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup chili powder no salt added, like Simply Organic
  • 3 tbsp cumin
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano dried

Instructions

  • Mix all ingredients in a jar with an airtight lid.
  • When ready to use, brown 1 lb of ground meat of your choosing. Once the meat is brown, drain any excessive fat and mix 2 Tbsp of seasoning mix with 1/4 cup of water and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
