Place 2 pounds chicken wingettes in a large freezer gallon bag. Add vegetable oil and spice rub. Mix well, and let sit in the fridge for 1-2 hours.
Preheat oven to 400° F.
Wrap a cookie sheet in aluminum foil. Place cooling rack on top of cookie sheet. Spray with cooking spray. Place chicken wings on cooling rack, place in oven and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown and sizzling.
