Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup buckwheat groats
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup almond milk or desired milk alternative

Method

  1. In a saucepan, add water and groats.
  2. Stir in salt, cinnamon, and vanilla.
  3. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce to a simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in milk and continue to cook until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Add your desired toppings and enjoy!
