Gluten Free Baked Pasta with Beef and Mozzarella

Ingredients

  • 12 oz gluten free pasta like Barilla
  • 1 lb ground beef or turkey
  • 24 oz marinara sauce
  • 1.5 cups mozzarella shredded, separated
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a 9x13 baking dish
  • Cook pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • While the pasta is cooking, in a large saute pan over medium high heat, brown the meat, breaking up with a spoon. Set aside.
  • Add the meat, marinara sauce, pasta, and 1 cup of cheese to the baking dish. Stir gently until everything is combined.
  • Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese on top and cover the pan with foil.
  • Bake for 14 minutes. Then remove the foil and bake another 5-10 minutes until browned on the top and bubbly.
