How to make Chicken Lettuce Wraps
These chicken lettuce wraps are a great 30 minute alternative to the lettuce wraps you can get at P.F. Changs. They are quick, easy, and totally delicious! Here are the 5 easy steps to make lettuce wraps
First:
First, sauté diced onion and mushrooms in 1 tbsp sesame oil over medium heat for about 5 minutes (or until soft).
Second:
In the meantime, combine the hoisin sauce, teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, Sriracha and ginger powder in a small bowl.
Third:
Remove the onions and mushrooms from the stove. Add 1 tbsp sesame oil and sauté the ground chicken breasts in 2 cloves minced garlic until cooked. Remember to chop up the ground chicken while it is cooking.
Fourth:
Once the chicken is cooked, add the onions and mushrooms to the pan. Also, add about 6 basil leaves (chopped), and then stir.
Fifth:
Next, add the sauce to the pan and stir.
Now that the filling is done, add some to each piece of lettuce and enjoy!

- 1 lb. ground chicken breast
- 8 oz. mushrooms
- ½ yellow onion
- Sesame oil
- 2 tbsp. hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 tbsp. soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 1 tbsp. Sriracha
- 2 garlic cloves
- 6 basil leaves
