More About Kaitlin

Kaitlin changed career paths after realizing her true passion was helping others lead healthier lives. She returned to school to complete her Master of Public Health degree in Nutrition from the University of North Carolina–Chapel Hill. From there, she went on to become a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to provide nutrition counseling to those struggling with diabetes, weight management, PCOS, or other chronic conditions.

An Annapolis native with a strong culinary background, Kaitlin’s mission is to empower others to reach their health goals by encouraging them to get back into the kitchen. Kaitlin teaches individuals how to prepare simple, healthy meals even in the midst of a stressful lifestyle. Kaitlin works with clients to help them overcome the barriers that often get in the way of reaching their goals.

Kaitlin became a dietitian after her own weight-loss journey. She made nutrition and lifestyle changes that helped her reach her goals and now she works to empower others to do the same. In her spare time, Kaitlin likes creating new recipes, kickboxing, traveling to new places, and hanging out with her goldendoodle, Oliver.

Kaitlin enjoys teaching others about cooking, online and in person. You can watch her on a local TV show, “Let’s Talk Sarcoidosis,” as she and Klara Knezevic, RD, LD, taught host Dorothea how to prepare a simple meal featuring anti-inflammatory spices. She has also appeared on numerous Facebook Live videos, where she prepares nutritious meals right in the Greenbelt office.
