​​Hi, I’m Mikayla Cooper! I’m an eating disorder dietitian in Maryland.
I see clients in Greenbelt and Columbia, Maryland and virtually across the USA.
After seeing firsthand the struggle my sister and cousin went through with their eating disorders while we were growing up, I became passionate about pursuing a career in the nutrition field.
As an eating disorder dietitian, I want to help my clients see their worth as human beings and see themselves the way I see my cousin and sister–as people worthy of love and self-love. My goal is to provide accurate nutrition education so my clients can become confident in their ability to nourish their bodies moving forward and be better equipped to chase their goals and dreams.

My Approach
While supporting clients on their recovery journey, I strive to help them identify the root cause of their eating disorder while continuing to provide their body the nourishment they need.
I want my clients to feel heard and understood, and as such I let them take the lead on the conversations so that I can listen to their experiences, concerns, and questions so that I can best support them in their recovery. I believe in weight inclusive care and practice in the Health at Every Size model.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds and collaborate with other members of your care team including doctors, therapists and family members as needed to ensure you receive the best care possible.
