Cancer
Are you confused with all the conflicting information about which foods you should eat to help fight or prevent cancer?
Are you having trouble maintaining your energy and managing side effects of cancer treatment?
Getting diagnosed with cancer can bring on an overwhelming number of doctor’s appointments, procedures, medications, and much more. So, how does nutrition play into your fight? Staying nourished throughout treatment will help your body heal after procedures. If you’re suffering from side effects of treatments and feeling lousy it can make it hard to want to eat anything at all, let alone the stress of preparing what you’re “supposed to” eat in order to help your body fight cancer. We can help you simplify your meals, meal plan efficiently, and increase the antioxidant rich foods in your diet.
Helping You Fight Cancer

Before Cancer Treatment
Have you just been diagnosed with cancer and have a comprehensive treatment plan ahead of you? We want to do our part in supporting your journey. We can work with you and/ or your family/friends to set up your kitchen, pantry, and freezer with meals so that food is one less thing to worry about. Having meals ready before treatment will help you focus your time and energy on healing.

During Cancer Treatment
Now that you are getting treatment for your cancer, you may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea that interfere with your energy and appetite. Keeping these symptoms minimized will keep you in “fighting shape” for your cancer treatments. Our dietitians can help you find ways to provide simple nourishment with food, supplements, and/or tube feedings to make sure you are getting everything you need.
