Don’t forget dessert!
A big hit for dessert is grilled fruit! We especially love grilled peaches served with a dollop of yogurt, whipped cream, or ice cream. You can also grill pineapple, pears, bananas, melon, and figs. Simply leave fruit in large pieces (so they don’t fall through), place on the grill and leave it alone until you get some good grill marks and the fruit is heated through.
Side Dishes to Serve with your Vegetarian BBQ
If you’re cooking for someone who eats meat or other animal proteins, here are some ideas:
You could marinate the salmon or just put it right on the grill for a tasty treat! Also, nothing better than grilled corn and veggies!
(instead of beef and mushroom, you can use a beyond burger or blend some vegan ground beef with mushrooms)
