Copycat Chipotle Honey Vinaigrette

  • 4 tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 chipotles in adobo
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 cup oil neutral oil like vegetable oil, avocado oil, etc


  • Place red wine vinegar, honey, water, chipotles, pepper and oregano in a blender. Blend until smooth.
  • With the blender on medium high speed, carefully add oil in a slow stream until well combined.
  • Store in an air tight container in the fridge.


Chipotles in adobo do contain sodium. If very concerned about sodium intake, compare labels to choose the lowest sodium option.
