Benefits to seeing a virtual dietitian

Telehealth has reimagined the way we look at healthcare appointments today! And while there are times when going in to see a provider is helpful, here are some reasons why you should consider making an online dietitian consultation.

Meet with your dietitian from home, work, or anywhere without commuting.

It’s easier to fit dietitian sessions into a busy schedule with more appointment time options.

Being in your own space can make it easier to open up and talk honestly about food and health.

Get specialized nutrition support even if you don’t live near one of our offices.

Stay connected with your dietitian while traveling, at school, or during life transitions.

Virtual sessions offer the same expertise, personalized guidance, and compassionate care as in person.

Yes! Research shows that virtual nutrition counseling is just as effective as in-person care. You’ll receive the same personalized support, resources, and follow-up from your dietitian — just from the comfort of home.

All you need is a device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) with internet access. We use a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform that’s easy to join with just a link.

We’ll guide you step by step. You’ll receive clear instructions before your session, and our team is always here to help if you run into any issues.

Absolutely. Many clients enjoy a mix of both — choosing what’s most convenient at the time.

Your privacy is our priority. Our sessions take place on a secure, HIPAA-compliant platform, and your dietitian will be meeting with you from a private space, with a closed door. We recommend that you find a quiet, comfortable space where you can talk freely.

We ask that you find a quiet, private space to meet with your dietitian virtually. This could be from your home, your office at work, or your car (however you should not be driving). Before your appointment, take a moment to minimize distractions like closing the door, turning off the TV, and securing children and pets.

We discourage meeting from loud, public spaces, like restaurants, common areas at school or work, or while riding public transit. If you are in your car, you should be parked in a secure area, not driving.

If you are not able to find a quiet, private place to attend your session, your dietitian may ask you to reschedule (fees may apply).
