Not necessarily, this varies based on their insurance plan and coverage. We encourage all of our patients to speak with their insurance providers to determine if they need a referral.
Which diagnoses are covered by insurance?
This will depend on the patient’s insurance provider and specific plan. Our office is able to provide general information on diagnoses that we typically see covered but we encourage all of our patients to speak with their insurance provider directly to determine their coverage.
How quickly can patients be seen?
Typically, patients are able to be seen within 1-2 weeks of calling and scheduling an appointment.
Do you offer virtual appointments?
Yes! Our team offers virtual appointments through a HIPPA compliant telehealth platform.
Will I receive notes?
Yes! Our office will fax you notes after the first session and periodically afterward to keep you updated on your patient’s progress. You can also request progress notes as frequently as you would like by calling our office.
Can patients choose their dietitian?
Yes! Patients are welcome to request a specific dietitian. That said, our team will also gladly help match them with the best fit based on your goals, medical history, and personality preferences. We want our patients to feel supported, understood, and empowered from the very first session.
