Hi, I’m Samantha Snyder Walters! I’m an eating disorder dietitian in Maryland.
I see clients in Greenbelt and Columbia, Maryland and virtually across the USA.
Growing up, I found myself surrounded by family and friends who struggled with disordered eating and poor body image. My empathy for their experiences drew me to the eating disorders field so I could learn how to better support my loved ones. Today, I bring this same compassion to my clients, and am passionate in supporting them as they restore their healthy relationship with food and with their body.
I have an extensive background in supporting clients at all levels of care, from residential to outpatient. I understand that recovery is not linear and am equipped to help my clients navigate the up’s and down’s of their treatment journey.

I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders for people of all ages, including pediatrics. I work closely with my clients to identify a treatment plan that works best for them, depending on their preferences and their lifestyle– no cookie cutter meal plans here.
I find the intuitive eating framework essential in helping my clients succeed with their treatment goals. Once my clients achieve freedom from food guilt, they go on to lead fuller, happier, more connected lives.
I use a body neutral, weight inclusive approach to support clients in improving their body image. I collaborate with other members of my clients’ care team to assist in cultivating positive self talk, self-esteem, and confidence.
