Hi there, I’m Thomas Aquilino, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Rebecca Bitzer & Associates. I work with all clients and all nutrition concerns—wherever you’re starting from, I’m here to help.
My path to nutrition has been anything but ordinary. Before becoming a dietitian, I served in U.S. Army Special Operations, an experience that taught me firsthand how much the right fuel matters for performance, resilience, and recovery. That curiosity led me deeper into the science of food, and today I’m passionate about both clinical and sports nutrition—because food really is both medicine and fuel.
Whatever brought you here, my job is to help you optimize your relationship with nutrition and build habits that support the life you want to live.
How I can help you
By combining evidence-based science with a practical, real-life approach, I can help you:
- Fuel your body for performance—whether you’re training for a race, building strength, or simply want more energy to get through your day.
- Use food as medicine to support your overall health, digestion, and long-term wellness.
- Understand the powerful connection between your gut, your food, and how you feel, both physically and mentally.
- Cut through conflicting nutrition advice and build a sustainable plan that actually fits your goals and lifestyle.

All about Thomas'
nutrition approach
I take a science-first, whole-person approach to nutrition. My graduate research in Colorado State University’s Intestinal Health Lab explored the interactions between our food, our gut microbiome, and how the two influence inflammation and mental health—so I understand just how deeply nutrition connects to the way you feel, both in your body and in your mind.
But great nutrition isn’t only about the science. I meet you where you are and translate the research into realistic, practical strategies you can actually use. Together we’ll build a plan that fuels your goals, supports your health, and helps you feel your best.
Whether you’re an athlete chasing a new goal, someone navigating a health condition, or simply looking to feel better day to day, I’m here to guide you. I look forward to being part of your journey!
