Any day you can fit in tacos for breakfast is a good day. Here at RBA, we are big taco fans, so of course, we would make some low FODMAP-friendly breakfast tacos!

What really puts this recipe together is the FODMAP-friendly salsa from FODY Foods. Following a low FODMAP diet doesn’t mean you can never enjoy the foods you once loved. It just means finding great alternatives!

Because being low FODMAP means you must limit and restrict foods that have fermentable oligosaccharides, disaccharides, monosaccharides, and polyols – basically, it can easily seem that your food choices are limited.

Low FODMAP Breakfast Tacos

Course: Breakfast
Condition: Gluten Free, Low FODMAP
Servings: 4 servings


  • 1 package Applegate chicken and sage sausages
  • 8 eggs
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese
  • FODY Foods Salsa to taste


  • In a frying pan, cook breakfast sausage per package instructions. Remove from pan.
  • Crack eggs in a bowl and whisk until blended. In the same pan, pour eggs and cook until desired consistency is reached. You can add the sausage back in to reheat.
  • Spoon eggs and sausage onto the tortillas. Top with cheese and salsa.
