Support and help balance your hormones with this nutrient-packed Blueberry Cacao Fertility Smoothie recipe, with plenty of heart healthy fat!

Fertility smoothie?

Ok this frosty deliciousness is not just for those trying to conceive. But my blueberry cacao smoothie is packed full of nutrients for happy (and balanced) hormones. Kefir brings active cultures and cauliflower brings fiber, both for gut health. The kefir is made from whole milk, which has been linked to higher rates of fertility. The mixed nut butter* I like to use contains almonds, cashews, pumpkin seeds, flax, and chia. Plenty of healthy fat and micronutrients like magnesium and zinc here! Cacao* is great for polyphenols and magnesium. Blueberries are also a great source of polyphenols for a happy gut.

Trying to conceive for some is a long road, and the reasons for a difficulty to conceive can vary greatly. Incorporating certain foods and nutrients can help support hormones for ovulation and a more regular cycle. Check out these fertility blogs for more information on foods for balanced hormones: part 1 and part 2.

Not trying to conceive? No worries, this blueberry cacao smoothie is just another tasty and balanced smoothie to add to your rotation! Lots of fiber, heart healthy fats, and antioxidants for a filling and satisfying smoothie.
