Hello! My name is Anna, and I’m an eating disorder dietitian located in the Maryland area seeing clients in Greenbelt and Columbia, Maryland and virtually across the USA!
From a young age, diet culture taught me that my body was a problem that needed to be “fixed.”
While I believed becoming a dietitian would teach me how to find the right body, I instead discovered that health does not have a “look.” I learned my relationship with food and my body was just as important as the foods that I was eating. It is my passion to work with clients on restoring not only their relationship with food, but finding peace and comfort in their bodies. It is a journey, but you are never alone in the journey to recovery.

My Approach:
I am passionate about providing holistic support through your eating disorder recovery to help you navigate food and beyond. I take a person centered approach and begin by learning about you, your personal values and who YOU are behind your eating disorder. From there, I use empathy, active listening and gentle challenging to empower my clients to align with their values instead of with their eating disorder.
I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds, including children and adolescents. My goal for parents is to feel empowered in fighting this illness with their child and I make sure that the whole family has the tools they need to support their loved one on their recovery journey.
I am experienced in using the Family Based Therapy approach to ED treatment, and am Health at Every Size aligned. I also work with other members of your care team including therapists, psychiatrists, and doctors to provide my clients with the best possible care.
