More About Shelley
Shelley is proud to be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and an associate at RBA since 2001. She serves as Chief Dietitian. Shelley focuses on root causes of symptoms and current health status. She is able to create a “roadmap to wellness” with each client that focuses on gaining health by taking small, realistic steps. Shelley strives to have her clients feeling better when they leave her office than when they entered. She understands the investment of time and the emotional vulnerability clients are making to face their current health status, and meets each person where they are, helping them make small steps toward a positive outcome.
Shelley is originally from Richmond, VA., and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics with a minor in Psychology from Virginia Tech. She completed her dietetic internship at Meredith College. In her spare time, Shelley may be found at the beach finding seashells, cooking delicious foods, playing in the garden, walking outdoors, enjoying a Broadway show or concert. Shelley treasures her family, friends and clients.
Shelley uses Boston Heart diagnostic testing for cardio-metabolic blood work and SpectraCell for vitamin and mineral status. Shelley only recommends products she uses and trusts for nutrition supplements. Shelley also offers medical nutrition weight loss, utilizing meal replacements.
